LEONARD V. NASCA
LCSW
I received a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University in 2004 and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from ASU in 2008. I have a clinical license (LCSW) through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
I have worked in the behavioral health field since 1996. My areas of specialization include managing anger, stress and anxiety; trauma, relationship/interpersonal dynamics, conflict resolution and male developmental issues. I have previously worked in the field of victim advocacy and also have an extensive background in Law Enforcement.
I believe “self-care” is a foundational piece to any therapy intervention. I use a cognitive approach as a baseline, but can also develop a plan that suits your emotional, intellectual and spiritual focus to get you to the goals you have for counseling.
I believe that a strong interaction with supportive communication is effective in helping you process the difficulty you are experiencing.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your healing.
